Case study: Senztek

Senztek provides smart technology for the heating and maintenance of stored hot water — primarily solar thermal. They use the UP Plus 3D Printers to produce rapid prototyping for both functional and prototype parts.

“Our company has been looking for a cheap and easy to use, no hassle, small 3D printer for many years now. When 3D Printing Systems brought out their Desk Top printer at the price level they are currently selling at, I knew our company could finally move towards in house design and printing of our stage one prototypes. We saw the UP Plus 3D printer on display at EMEX and came away excited. This was going to be a very cost effective solution for us in producing basic prototypes for our development team. We will still continue to use outsourced 3D printing for models that require very high degrees of accuracy, fit and certain material compositions but since buying the UP Plus 3D printer we have been absolutely amazed at its ruggedness, accuracy and ease of use.  It’s a fantastic little machine and quite frankly I see it has a big future in design offices and R&D departments.”
